St. Luke’s Provides Quality Emergency Care in Houston Communities

St. Luke’s Community Emergency Center® (CEC)—Holcombe celebrates 10 years of providing emergency care to Houstonians.

Located at 2727 West Holcombe Blvd., St. Luke’s CEC—Holcombe is St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital’s first free-standing emergency care center beyond the Texas Medical Center. Since opening, thousands of patients have been treated at the CEC–Holcombe. Today, five CECs are operated by St. Luke’s hospitals in the Greater Houston area, including San Felipe at Winrock, The Woodlands, Pearland and The Vintage (located off of Highway 249 in Northwest Houston).

“We’re proud that St. Luke’s was the first in the region to provide hospital-based emergency care in neighborhoods and communities, and we continue to make it our goal to bring St. Luke’s quality emergency care to where people work and live,” said Joseph Robertson, service line director, St. Luke’s Community Emergency Centers. “Our patients tell us they choose St. Luke’s CECs because it is a brand they know and expertise they trust to provide convenient, quality emergency care.”

All St. Luke’s CECs are staffed by board-certified physicians and emergency-trained nurses, and offer on-site clinical laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging services. The CECs also provide medical treatment to patients of all ages 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including all holidays. Appointments are not necessary.
