St. Luke’s CEO Margaret M. Van Bree Recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as Hospital and Health System Leader to Know

St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital (St. Luke’s) announces that Margaret M. Van Bree, DrPH, Chief Executive Officer of St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and Senior Vice President of St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System, has been named in the Becker’s Hospital Review list of “291 Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know.” Selected through nominations, previous appointments to Becker’s Hospital Review lists and research collected by the Becker’s editorial staff, individuals are named as a result of their impressive accomplishments, extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry.      

Prior to joining St. Luke’s in 2009, Van Bree served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison. She has held similar positions at the University of Virginia Health System and University of Minnesota Medical Center – Fairview (formally Fairview-University Medical Center). Van Bree has also held academic appointments at universities, teaching extensively in the healthcare management and quality field.
