St. Luke’s Cancer Center’s first-ever Clinical Research Summit will feature current and upcoming research at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital; a round table discussion on the topic of integrated treatment modalities; the latest developments in surgical and medical oncology research and research support for the growing cancer program at St. Luke’s.

Symposium Educational Objectives:
Identify current research approaches and techniques, as well as clinical trial opportunities available for cancer patients at St. Luke’s Cancer Center.
Recognize and describe the Cancer Center’s role in conducting clinical based research studies, as well as the needs for improved data collection standards.
Describe the projected outlook of a unified Cancer Center Model that offers a comprehensive portfolio of treatment opportunities through research and clinical trials, and that meets the requirements as set forth by the Commission on Cancer Clinical Trial Accrual Standard 1.9.
