Liver diseases are major causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide, and clinical application of advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with liver diseases optimizes the care and outcomes of patients. This conference provides the practitioner with cutting-edge information for the care of adults with common liver diseases.
The goal of the conference is to convey new information about liver diseases and complications that can be implemented in clinical practice by gastroenterologists, internists, primary care physicians, mid-level providers and trainees. An ARS (Audience Response System) keypad system is used extensively as an educational aid for each key point discussed in the lectures. This ensures audience participation, attention and aid in the retention of new knowledge.
World-renowned speakers, including four past presidents of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, will present this year. The speakers include: Eugene Schiff, MD; Willis C. Maddrey, MD; Guadalupe Garcia-Tsao, MD; John M. Vierling, MD; Col. Stephen Harrison, MD, US Army; Hashem El-Serag, MD; and the faculty of the Baylor College of Medicine Hepatology program.
Early bird registration and special discounts are available. For registration, agenda and conference speakers, visit liverhottopics.com. This event provides CME and CE credits.
