St. Luke's Hosts Seminar for Health Care Providers

Pain management author, editor, educator and clinical consultant, Chris Pasero, MS, RN-BC, FAAN will host a one-day seminar focusing on the healthcare team’s role in influencing patient outcomes through the assessment and management of pain. The seminar will address the major barriers to effective pain assessment and management, explain the recommended principles, guidelines and standards for the assessment and management of pain and describe the primary pharmacological and nonpharmacological interventions for managing pain.

Upon successful completion of this seminar, attendees will receive 7.8 continuing nursing education hours by St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital Department of Nursing & Patient Education, an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association.
